Are you an experienced builder who takes pride in a job well done? At Empirica Infrastructure, we’re looking for 15 skilled Fence and Infrastructure Installers to join our team in Burnaby.

This isn’t just about digging holes; it’s about precision, leadership, and building the foundations of our community. We are currently in the LMIA process, so we are specifically looking for international workers who have the experience and the drive to build a long-term future in Canada.

What your days will look like

You’ll be out on various construction sites, and every project brings a new challenge. Your day-to-day will involve:

• The Blueprint: You’ll prepare layouts that meet building codes, using measuring tools to make sure everything is perfect before the first post goes in.
• The Build: You’ll be measuring, cutting, and assembling materials—everything from wood and steel to modern substitutes.
• Beyond Fencing: Your skills will be used for building foundations, installing floor beams, erecting walls, and fitting windows, doors, and stairs.
• Maintenance & Repair: You’ll also help renovate and repair wooden structures in diverse environments like industrial plants, hospitals, and residential areas.
• Leadership: With 15 openings, we need people who can supervise other workers, estimate material costs, and keep the team moving efficiently.

Who we’re looking for

• The Experience: You’ve been in the trade for 3 to 5 years. You know your way around a job site and understand the “why” behind the build.
• The Skills: You have a high school diploma and a solid grasp of building codes and construction math.
• Physical Strength: Construction is tough work! You’re comfortable bending, crouching, and lifting heavy loads throughout a 40-hour week.
• Adaptable: You don’t mind a bit of noise or dust—it’s all part of the craft when you’re on-site.
