We’re looking for a talented Line Cook to join our crew here at The Whistle and Fiddle in Leamington Spa. We aren’t just looking for someone to follow a recipe; we’re looking for a reliable teammate who genuinely loves North Indian cooking and wants to help us put out great food in a lively pub setting.
The Day-to-Day
It’s a pub, so it gets busy! You’ll be spending most of your time handling the North Indian side of our menu—think authentic curries, tandoori items, and fresh breads. Every now and then, we’ll need your help with South Indian dishes like dosa or idli, too. We’re big on prep and even bigger on consistency, so we need someone who takes pride in making sure every plate looks perfect before it hits the table.
Who we’re looking for
- A Pro in North Indian Cuisine: Ideally, you’ve got at least 2 years of experience under your belt. If you know your way around a Tandoor, even better.
- Qualified: You should have your Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene and Food Allergen training sorted.
- Reliable: We need someone who shows up ready to go, works well with the team during a rush, and is flexible with working weekends and evenings.
