What you’ll actually be doing

Forget the corporate jargon. On a typical day, you’ll be:

• The Morning Hero: Helping someone get out of bed, freshened up, and dressed so they feel like themselves.
• The Chef: Whipping up a nice meal and making sure their meds are taken on time.
• The Friendly Face: Sometimes you might be the only person a client sees all day. A quick chat about the news or a laugh over a cup of tea goes a long way.
• The Chauffeur: Using your car to take a client to the doctor or just down to the shops for a bit of a change of scenery.
• The Organized One: Jotting down quick notes on your phone or tablet so the rest of the team and the family know everything is okay.

• You’ve got a heart of gold: You don’t need years of experience (though it’s a bonus). If you’re willing to learn and you actually care about people, we can teach you the rest.
• You’re a confident driver: You’ll need a valid license and at least a year of driving experience. Since you’ll be visiting people at home, having your own wheels is a must.

• You’re reliable: When you say you’ll be there at 8:00 AM, you’re there. Our clients really depend on you.
