If you’ve ever wanted to spend a season living and working on one of the most beautiful islands in the country, this is your chance. The Grand Hotel (along with Bicycle Street Inn and the Mackinac Island Bike Shop) is looking for 112 servers to join us for the 2026 season.

Mackinac is a special place—there are no cars, just bikes and horses—and we need a great crew to help us give our guests an unforgettable experience.

What the Job is Actually Like

It’s fast-paced, and you’ll be on your feet a lot. You’ll be doing all the usual server things: greeting people, taking orders, carrying heavy trays of food and drinks, and making sure the dining rooms stay clean and looking sharp.

We stay busy! Our guests are here to relax and have a good time, so your schedule will vary. You’ll likely work some weekends, evenings, and holidays. Shifts usually fall into these windows:

• Mornings: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Mid-day: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Are You a Good Fit?

We’re looking for people who already know their way around a busy restaurant. Specifically:

• You’ve got at least 6 months of experience in a high-volume or fine-dining spot (like a private club, resort, or upscale restaurant).
• You’re reliable, friendly, and can handle a rush without breaking a sweat.
