Looking for a change of scenery for the Summer 2026 season? The Spring House Hotel on beautiful Block Island, Rhode Island, is looking for hardworking housekeepers to join our crew.

What the Job is Actually Like

We take pride in our hotel, and the housekeeping team is the heart of it. You’ll be keeping guest rooms and common areas spotless, making sure everything is stocked, and helping out in the laundry room with folding linens and towels.

It’s a physical job. You’ll need to be able to:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Bend, squat, and move quickly throughout your shift.
• Work with cleaning supplies and tools (we’ll show you exactly how we do things).
• Work well with a team or on your own, depending on what the day needs.
• Keep an eye out for maintenance issues and let the manager know if something needs fixing.

Living and Eating on the Island

We try to make things as easy as possible for our staff since we’re on an island:

• Housing: We provide dormitory-style employee housing for just $75 per week. It includes AC, heat, Wi-Fi, and Cable TV. There are communal bathrooms, a shared kitchen, and coin-op laundry on-site.
• Food: You get 50% off selected menu items during your shift.
