We are looking for two compassionate, reliable people to join the home of Jian Qin Tong as Family Caregivers. This isn’t just a list of tasks for us; we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and wants to make a real difference in someone’s daily life.
You’ll be working right in the heart of the home here in Vancouver. Since this role is all about personal connection and hands-on care, it is a fully on-site position.
How You’ll Help
Your presence will help keep the household running smoothly and, more importantly, keep our family member feeling supported. On a typical day, you’ll be:
- Providing Companionship: Being a friendly face, having a chat, and offering genuine emotional support.
- Personal Care & Health: Helping with personal routines, administering medications, and encouraging light exercise like daily walks to keep things active.
- Meal Time: Planning and cooking nutritious, delicious meals that everyone looks forward to.
- Keeping the Home Cozy: Doing some light housekeeping, laundry, and making sure the living space stays clean and comfortable.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: A high school diploma (Secondary School Graduation Certificate).
- Experience: If you’ve done caregiving before, that’s a huge asset! But more importantly, we’re looking for the right heart and a willingness to help.
- Language: You should be comfortable communicating in English.
- The Vibe: You are patient, observant, and someone who takes pride in creating a warm, healthy environment for others.
